Representative Christopher Smith   R-New Jersey: "Someday soon, I believe it's a matter of when and not if, future generations will look back in horror with incredulity and astonishment that some ...  in this present age vehemently defended the slaughter of nearly 40,000 babies by abortion, ... "

Representative Helen Chenoweth-Hage  R-Idaho:  " Our first responsibility as lawmakers is to protect life, to keep that helpless baby as it is being born from being invaded. I rise in strong support of this Bill because I remember that in The Declaration of Independence, it clearly states that  'We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal and they have been endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights: the right to life, the right to liberty and the pursuit of happiness.'  I take that seriously, Mr. Speaker, and yes, our responsibility is to protect life..."

Representative Robert Aderholt  R-Alabama: " We must do everything in our power to save these innocent lives..."

Representative Tom Tinhrt  R-Kansas:  " This nation must raise the value of life if we're to survive as a nation and prosper as a people. This procedure is so horrible and so inhumane that there should never be a debate..."

 Representative Tom Delay R-Texas; House Majority Whip:  " I would like to once again express my support for this life saving Bill. It is hard to believe that it's not  passed into law already, but we live in very sad times. Abortion is a stain on our nation that must be washed away. A ban on partial-birth abortion is the first step ... between 3,000 and 10,000 babies are killed by it annually. Most Americans wouldn't want this done to a dog, yet the (Clinton) White House and others turn their heads away as its being done to babies. On this issue the conscience of our country has been pricked. A vast majority of Americans believe that partial birth abortion should be illegal. Mr. Speaker, the President needs to listen to the conscience of the American people and sign this ban. "

Pres. Clinton, labeled 'slick' and  the abortion president; politicizing abortion maximally, supporting it here and worldwide, with no evident feeling, or mercy, compassion, or apology; especially in light of the recent medical findings concerning the cruel, terrible tyranny of abortion.

Similarly slick: Vice Pres. Gore in his recent convention acceptance speech: "I'm my own man ... I will fight for a woman's right to choose ( unconditional abortion ). " In 1988, before the Clinton Presidency, Gore in a pro life vote against the legality of the Abortion Law Roe v Wade, voted to establish the fetus as a person.

Babies can't vote; misled women do. Slick.

This is the tenor of destructive events that is systematically corroding what should be a good and decent nation of opportunity for all, having been founded and Blessed by The LORD's GODLY Principles; where dreams should be able to be fulfilled by hard work, honesty and dedication.

This rebellious, irresponsible, self-serving behavior for temporal, unworthy victories, that is becoming more and more common, fosters oppression that threatens to destroy the remaining moral fiber that could carelessly crumble to the bars of tyranny, and to the loss of the true freedoms of peace, decency and community with truth in free and open speech.

Power grabbing at any cost, the cost being to our people first and to our nations, promotes falling to the altered, stretched freedom that forms oppressive, indecent immorality that is forced on all of us to endure.

The bitter, projected vision presents itself through the lowering of moral standards by the irresponsible, self-serving and perverse; and the resultant formation of confused, lost, vilified and unhappy children, allowed to be born, if they're fortunate, but growing to adulthood without ever recalling or experiencing the cognizance of pleasant moral decency in society, except for the refuge of GOD and of the families of enlightened faith, and the refuge of the truthful Church and some schools where one can find the solace of decency; all of which are also being oppressed and suppressed by the spoilers.

We all celebrated the New Millennium with hope for better things to come. The fulfillment of hope is realized by faith and positive change. We must concede; we must change.

My profound thanks to all of the Representatives of the House, the Medical Authorities; and unfortunately a measure of brevity does not here permit the many others' quotes that were equally enlightening while debating this Bill.
